Homeless Outreach Donation Drive - October 2026.png

We are Collecting Donations

Now - October 10

Our church family is partnering with Doing What We Can Homeless Outreach, a Christ-centered ministry serving individuals experiencing homelessness right here in the Chattanooga community. Many of the people they serve are chronically unhoused and live in tents, cars, sheds, or other temporary situations without regular access to food, water, electricity, or basic hygiene supplies. We invite you and your family to help us show the love of Christ in a practical way! Donation baskets will be located in the church foyer and Sabbath School classrooms throughout October. Bring what you can, when you can!

**Items Needed:**

New adult-size socks,

Stick deodorant (no aerosol cans),

Body/hand/bathroom wipes,

Disinfecting wipes,

Bottled water (16–18 oz.),

Drink powders, protein or juice drinks,

Soft shelf-stable foods and snacks,

Pop-top canned foods,

Individual-serving dog and cat food,

AA/AAA batteries,

Small handheld flashlights,

Tarps,

Duct tape, and

Wooden stick matches.

Because many of the individuals served have difficulty chewing, please do not donate nuts, hard granola, or other hard foods. We are also collecting $10 gift cards ONLY to McDonald’s, Burger King, Sonic, and Dollar General. These specific locations have been requested by the ministry because the gift cards cannot be used to purchase alcohol or tobacco products.

By October 10, everything collected will be given to Doing What We Can Homeless Outreach to distribute directly to people in need throughout our community. Whether you bring a pair of socks, a case of water, a $10 gift card, or several supplies, every donation is an opportunity to remind someone that they are seen, valued, and loved.

Bring what you can, when you can—and help us share the love of Jesus with our community!
